Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information we receive when you use arlosmartfirm.tech or send us a website enquiry, how that information is used, and the choices you have. It is written to describe what this website actually does, not a generic template.
This Privacy Policy applies to the website arlosmartfirm.tech and to enquiries you send to Arlo Smart Firm ("we", "us", "our") about website design and development services. By using this website you accept the practices described here.
1. Who We Are
Arlo Smart Firm provides website design and development services. Our business contact details are:
- Email: contact@arlosmartfirm.tech
- Phone: +91 98163 43408
- Address: C/O Roshan Lal, Savitri Niwas, Kali Temple, Devnagar, Shimla Urban (T), PO Kasumpti, District Shimla, Himachal Pradesh - 171009, India
2. Information You Give Us Voluntarily
We only receive the details you choose to send us. Depending on how you contact us, that may include:
- Your full name
- Your business or brand name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- Your existing website address, if you have one
- The package you are interested in, your project type and your estimated budget
- Your project details, requirements and any content, images or files you send us for the project
You are not required to give us anything beyond what is needed to answer your enquiry. Please do not send us identity documents, financial account details, passwords or other sensitive personal information. We do not ask for them and we do not need them to quote for a website.
3. How Our Enquiry Form Works
This website is a static website. It has no database, no user accounts and no online payment system.
At the time of writing, the enquiry form on our contact page does not transmit anything to a server of ours. When you press Send Enquiry, your own email application opens with your answers filled in, and the message is sent from your own email account to contact@arlosmartfirm.tech only when you send it. Nothing is stored on this website.
If we later connect a third-party form service so that enquiries can be submitted directly from the page, that service would receive the form details in order to deliver them to us. We will update this policy, including the name of that service, before enabling it.
4. Information Collected Automatically
Like almost all websites, our hosting provider records standard technical information when a page is requested, such as the IP address making the request, the date and time, the page requested, the referring address and basic browser information. These server logs are generated by the hosting infrastructure and are used for security, fault diagnosis and abuse prevention.
Separately, if website analytics is enabled and you have accepted analytics cookies, we may receive aggregated statistics such as page views, approximate location at country or city level, device type and how visitors move between pages. See our Cookie Policy for the detail.
5. Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. This website uses them in a limited way:
- Essential: a single local storage entry records whether you accepted or declined optional cookies, so we do not ask you again on every page.
- Analytics and advertising: these are loaded only if they are enabled and only after you press Accept on the cookie notice. If you press Decline, or ignore the notice, they are not loaded.
Full details, including how to control cookies in your browser, are in our Cookie Policy.
6. Advertising and Analytics Technologies
We advertise our website design services, including through Google Ads. Where advertising and measurement technologies are enabled on this website, they may be used to:
- measure how many people who clicked one of our adverts reached the website;
- measure which pages and buttons visitors use;
- report whether an advert click led to a genuine completed enquiry;
- help Google show our adverts to relevant audiences.
Two points we want to be explicit about. First, no advertising or analytics tag is active on this website unless it has been installed and you have accepted optional cookies. Second, we do not report a lead simply because someone opened our contact page. A lead is only ever recorded on a genuine completed enquiry.
Where Google technologies are used, Google processes data as described in its own privacy documentation, which is outside our control.
7. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you send us to:
- reply to your enquiry and answer your questions;
- prepare a recommendation, a scope of work and a written quotation;
- deliver, review and support a website project you have approved;
- keep a record of what was agreed for the project;
- improve our website, services and published information;
- detect and prevent fraud, abuse, spam and security problems;
- comply with applicable law, and respond to a lawful request from an authority.
We do not sell your information. We do not add you to a marketing list without asking, and we do not send bulk marketing email from enquiry details.
8. Third-Party Service Providers
Running a business website means relying on a few outside providers. Depending on what is in use at the time, these may include:
- our web hosting provider, which serves the website and keeps server logs;
- our email provider, which delivers and stores the emails we exchange with you;
- a web font provider, if web fonts are loaded from an external service;
- analytics and advertising providers, if enabled and accepted;
- a form delivery service, if one is connected in future.
These providers process information only so that the relevant part of the service can work, and each has its own privacy terms. We share your enquiry details with a third party only where it is necessary for one of the purposes in section 7, or where we are required to by law.
9. Data Retention
We keep enquiry emails and project correspondence for as long as needed to answer you, deliver an agreed project and keep a reasonable business record of what was agreed. Where there is no legal or business reason to keep something, we delete it.
If you would like your enquiry correspondence deleted, email us and tell us which enquiry you mean. We will delete what we are not required to retain.
10. Information Security
We take reasonable care with the information you send us. The website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and access to our email and project files is restricted to the people who need it.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. Please do not send confidential documents or credentials by email unless we have specifically agreed a secure way to do it.
11. External Links
Our website may link to other websites, for example a hosting provider or a documentation page. Those websites are not under our control. Their content, security and privacy practices are their own responsibility, and this policy does not apply to them. Please read their terms before giving them any information.
12. Your Choices and Rights
You are in control of what you send us. Specifically, you may:
- choose not to submit an enquiry, and contact us by phone instead;
- decline optional cookies on the cookie notice, or clear them in your browser at any time;
- ask us what enquiry information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong;
- ask us to delete your enquiry correspondence, where we are not required to keep it.
To make any of these requests, email contact@arlosmartfirm.tech from the email address you used to contact us. Depending on where you live, local data protection law may give you further rights, and we will honour those that apply to you.
13. Children
Our services are intended for businesses and adults. This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when our website, tools or providers change, for example if analytics is switched on or a form service is connected. The date at the top of this page always shows when it was last updated. Material changes will be reflected here before the new practice begins.
